Fire Feast cooked under the Burrow Hill cider trees
Carlos and Bruce met whilst cooking several years ago, it was love at first sight. Both chefs having a passion for fire and South America.
Bruce having travelled there and Carlos hailing from Mexico. Having found themselves in Somerset they’ve fallen in love with the countryside the produce and the fine people. Keen cider fans the duo are excited by cooking with the finest local produce.
The menu curated by the lads is a taste of all they love, fire, nature, our beautiful Somerset and a couple of hints of their backgrounds and culture.
This will be a mega feast under the burrow hill cider apple trees.
Grilled Cornish Hake- chilli and garlic pil-pil, grilled lemon, wild garlic aioli.
Dry aged fire roasted Somerset rib of beef.
Smokey potatoes.
Grilled peppers and aubergine scalivada.
Somerset green leaves, Burrow Hill dressing.
Somerset burnt cheesecake, smoked apples, cider brandy caramel.
